Though she is formally entering the field of counselling for the first time, she has long been an informal mentor throughout her professional life. As a team leader at Northern Trust, she discovered her passion for helping individuals find clarity, purpose, and direction in their professional growth. This organic evolution from leadership to guidance has laid the foundation for her venture into career counselling.
In her current role, Lekha has been instrumental in leading a team of seven, managing key client interactions with Irish investors, and overseeing end-to-end processes like onboarding, training, and quality control. Her ability to balance operational excellence with personal development has earned her recognition, including the Best Team Leader award for Q4 2023. Her approach combines accountability, empathy, and a results-driven mindset, traits she now channels into Guided Careers to support students and professionals.
